You can go to the pet store and get protective pads/shields/diapers. Then, after she is finished with her heat cycle, have her spayed. Once spayed, she will not have any more heat cycles.

    ADD:
PLEASE do NOT leave her outside unattended or take her around ANY males for at least 3 weeks. Diapers/pads DO NOT prevent pregnancy! She will end up pregnant and you will have a really large vet bill and puppies to take care of.

at pet stores they have doggy underwear that you stick a pad in, get her fixed so you dont have this problem again or puppies

They do sell pet diapers at pet stores for this purpose. I tried one with my puppy before I had her spayed, and while it was kind of a pain in the butt to keep it on her and in the right place, it was lots better than her bleeding on things.

you can go to your local pet store and they make special doggie diapers that you can get in a really small size for your chihuahua.

You can go to the store. They sell doggy diapers at a store like petsmart.

I would suggest getting her fixed, however. Female dogs have a terrible time in heat, and it causes undue stress. And there are plenty of dogs out there already (overpopulation problem).

    Please consider it!

You can buy protective panites for her, or even put a pair of little boy’s undies on her upside down with her tail sticking out the fly. But the BEST way to prevent the unpleasantness of heats is to spay her. It is much healthier for her in the long run as well.

doggy diapers. Line them with human unscented pantyliners. She’ll have to pee alot more than usual so be sure to take her out often.

Your chihuahua is in heat. when my dog was in heat i put a pull up on her. idk if they have pull ups small enough for a chiuahua. you have to chut a spot out for te tail to go through.

There are “diapers” for female dogs in heat (ask your vet). After the first period, she will have figured out how to clean herself, and you won’t have to worry about blood all over the house. However, you have a decision to make. If eventually you want her to have puppies, you will have to be very vigilant: her smell will attract male dogs of every size and description. You will have to protect her from these lusting males. That means that she can not be NEAR another male dog. Again, if you want puppies, find a reputable stud service (again, ask the vet). If she’s a purebred, you can sell the puppies or give them to good homes. BUT, give her a break. After she has one litter, get her spayed. Life will be easier for both of you.
