What Dog Is Right For Me?

LOVE_TRACE_CYRUS!!! asked:

I want a dog. I dont know what breed though. I already have a FULL TIME OUTSIDE golden retriever. She never comes in the house. I want A dog light enough to hold, pickup, dress, and pamper. I would be in the house all the time. ( besides bathroom breaks). Any Ideas?

If you own a Chow Chow or if you’re thinking about getting one, then this may be the most important letter you’ll ever read…

chiwawa and yorkie, maybe. I’ve never owned a small dog though, but my friend has a yorkie and she loves to sit in her lap. just be sure to give your other dog attention, too.

You’re probably asking for trouble if you think you’re going to keep a small dog and a big dog completely separated. Allowing one in the house and not the other is placing one dog higher in the heirarchy than the other. Dogs living with the same person should be treated equally.

As for a small dog, go to your shelter and get one. You don’t need a specific breed to have as a lap dog.

Jack Russell’s are awesome little dogs, they’re really loyal and friendly. My grandparents had one for a little while, but it was getting really old and went completely deaf and almost blind. It didn’t see the train coming, unfortunately. Those dogs seriously rule :)

Yorkshire terriers are easy to pamper.
