my fur babies (both rat terriers, one female and one male) are beyond a doubt SPOILED ROTTEN
in the house they have their own little (childrens) chairs they sit in
in the car they have car seats for safety and know if theyre not buckled up the car wont move
for out and about we bought a twin stroller for them to ride in because of the fact i am in a wheelchair and its easier to have them under control like that
they also have their own blankets and full wardrobes
oh and dont dare call them (whispers here) dogs, theyre babies !

That is just so wrong that you allow this behavior. He is not getting jealous he is being territorial he is telling them hands off that is mine. You should correct this problem and I certainly think it is not something that should be bragged about or thought of as funny. Someone, possibly even a child, could get hurt from the behaviors you think of as cute.

well well well…. ok let me tell you how bad it is..
first i have to tell you ladie and pup are their names, both pit bulls pup is deaf. ok now i live with my boyfriend, when we moved in together we only had a twin bed…. so me my boyfriend and two 70 lb dogs(and the cats) in a twin bed…. so we thought we would be smart and went and bout a queen bed… then they got used to the room on that bed… well now me and my boyfriend sleep on the twin bed in the same room as the DOGS brand new queen bed. ladie will come up to me at about 4 in the morning and take my pillow and put it on her bed and sleep. pup does the same with the throw that i use on the bed. we take the dogs to pet smart 2 times a week, mon and thursday, we say lets go shopping and they are out in the truck. ladie is my jealous one. she will walk up to anyone who comes over if they havent rubbed her and chomp her teeth, its cute!

of course my Rottie is spoiled, why else would i have him
He takes up almost the entire bed,& lets us know when it is time to go to bed (he will come get us from the living room, & run back to the bedroom). He has caused me to fall out of bed more than once when he extends his legs
When he feels hes not getting enough attention he grumbles (rottie version of talking) until we talk to him
I know this is stupid, but when i ask him “you want me to pet the doggy” he comes running over & plops in front of me for petting.
He is a gigantic spoiled clown dog & i wouldnt have it any other way

Here’s how spoiled my two dogs are….. instead of 1 one hour walk a day they get 2 one hour walks a day. Instead of jumping on the furniture to lay w/ me I lay on the floor w/ them. Instead of jumping on people when they come to the house, they go into the other room and keep themselves amused till they feel it’s time to greet the guest, then they go back to whatever it was they were doing. When a person hugs my g/f or I they get jealous and sit there till the person acknowledges them.

Sarcasm aside, what you are doing to your dog is selfish and should stop immediately. I am not amused by how spoiled your dog is or am I jealous. What you are doing is abusing your dog, you are taking the animal, breed, dog out of him and satisfying your own needs. Trust me when I say; that thing your dog does when he is not the center of your world, that growl or hyper bark, or fit he is throwing is not good for him, and is only causing stress on your dogs “being.” Eventually you will be sorry for the harm you have caused you ANIMAL!

Sorry to have to ruin you fun, but I am sure allot of the more level headed DOG OWNERS feel this way; am I right?

My male pit’s name is Leo!
and boy is he SPOILED!
If his momma comes around (I kept him from her 1st litter last yr) he runs up and is like here I am! He sleeps right beside me!
He has a toy chest FILLED with toys!
He has (right now) 5bags of different bones (his favorite being scooby snacks
He goes EVERYWHERE with me! He is my boy who i love and love to spoil very very much! I treat him like a baby!
Glad to hear you do the same with your Leo

**BTW last week was his 1st bday…we had 2 other puppies (out of 9) come over we had mini bone cookies I bought from Petsmart and even bacon flavored popcorn!!! (and presents)

The dog is not yours to give away – but the dog is not yours to take care of either! Call the Humane Society and speak to the director. Tell them the situation and ask about the legalities of the owner returning and wanting the dog back. Explain the neglect the dog has suffered. Explain your situation and that you have found a home for the dog. Keep all receipts of what you spend on the dog; food, vet bills, etc.
Personally, I would find the dog a good home and then call the owner and tell her the vet has suggested putting the dog to sleep. (A little white lie) That due to the neglect of the owner the dog has an intestinal disease and will never recover. Tell her the vet has said it is inhumane and the vet will press charges against her. Then ask her for the fee of putting the dog to sleep!
In the meantime, ask the vet about a dog food that is very bland and better for the dog’s digestive system. You can also mix baby food (turkey or chicken) with the regular food.
