I honestly have no idea what the answer to that question is so I am asking here.

My teacher said she’d give us extra credit if we found out why. is this a trick question?

How does God feel about people who excessively pamper their dogs?

Swimmer asked:

There are people who spend more money on their dogs than some parents can afford to spend on their children.

Some people buy more toys for their dogs than some parents can afford to buy for their children.

Some people spend more on specialty dog food than some parents can afford to spend on food for their children.

There so many people in America who don’t have medical insurance while some people spend their money on medical insurance and veterinarian fees for their dogs.

I have nothing against dogs, but I don’t agree people should spend more on a dog than on a human being.

How do you think God feels about these people?

How does your dog feel about you “humanizing” him/her?

Beano asked:

No it’s not my business what you do to your dog; but when you pamper your dog to the extent; that it no longer is a dog, but is now your “baby” you make it my business (Literally) Most cases I deal with when working with owners and thier pets is not the dogs problem, it’s the owners. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard….”Oh he makes a fuss when you get near him while he’s playing with his toy, so we just leave him alone. Besides, he’s only bitten me once!” What?
A lot of positive feed back…… surprisingly! I thought for sure I’d get my head handed to me a few times. Thanks for making your dogs life much easier!

Black “skin” around tips of dog’s ears?

October 9, 2009 by Admin

Kirsten asked:

I’m posting this for my room mate’s five-year-old Boston Terrier, Gordon.

He is a very, very healthy and well-taken care of dog. Very pampered. The skin on his ears is black, of course, and recently we’ve noticed that when you scratch at the lining on the inside even very lightly, dry black stuff flakes off. It’s not fleas, he’s been checked over thoroughly for those. However, she’s worried it may be ear mites as his appetite hasn’t been very great lately, and we’d read that was a symptom. He doesn’t really scratch or tilt his head more than normal. Now and then, but nothing abnormal. Is this something to worry over, or is it just a case of dry skin? If it could be remotely serious, he’s headed to the vet anyway, but she doesn’t want to panic over something small like dry skin.
He plays outside for about 20 minutes at a time, three or four times a day to use the bathroom and get in some exercise, but he’s not big on the outdoors much (and isn’t a good breed for humid Kentucky weather). So not really very often.
As I said, the dog is well-groomed (he used to be an AKC champion in his younger, intact days), and has his ears cleaned on about a monthly basis. Neither the groomer or vet have ever mentioned this issue.
Dog was a champion before suffering an injury and being sold to a puppy mill for four years. She adopted him from a rescue in September. It’s more than normal, she said she noticed it during the wintry months too, though. He just got back from a stay at the vet’s while she was on vacation, so that’s really where the worry stems from.
